Born in Montreal, in a multicultural environment, Laura Sasseville has always been interest and influenced by other cultures: "Traveling is a source of great importance!" At a young age, her mother introduced Laura to fashion, arts and crafts. At 15, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts presented to the public, her work in a collective (Les ados exposent) homage to René Magritte in 1996. In college (cégep), she studied visual arts with Aurélio Sandonato and Léopold Foulem. In 2004, she selected the craft side of art by entering the Montreal school for glass, Espace VERRE, were she graduated in 2007. Now she lives and works in Verdun:
